Welcome to 2D Game Jam #3, where creativity knows no bounds! Dive into this one-week challenge to make an incredible 2D game, using any game development software—just keep it in 2D! This Jam is all about having fun, experimenting, and pushing your skills. You’ll walk away with new ideas, connections, and inspiration. The theme is voted on so no one cannot know the theme before the jam starts: VOTE HERE!

• Theme Reveal: The theme and the subtheme, designed to spark your creativity, will be revealed on our Discord server!
• Who Can Join: Anyone! You just need to register here on itch.io.
• Submission Format: Aim to publish your game in a browser-friendly format so it’s easy for everyone to play.
• Team member limit: Limit your team to 4 people, the prize will only be givven to teams who follow this rule.

CraftPix.net is an online store and resource specializing in high-quality premium and free 2D game assets for game developers, indie studios, and hobbyists.

VOTE HERE! First sign up or log in, then give your 3 themes and subthemes and finnaly you can vote.

🔺 Prize 🔻

The prize is a 1 year membership to CraftPix (premium and free assets with commertial use), first four teams get it.

🔺 Rules 🔻

• Be Respectful: No offensive, discriminatory, or NSFW content. This Jam is for everyone!
• Keep It Fresh: Your game should be original—no copying. If games are found to be copies, points will go to the original creator.
• Asset & Code Use: You can use pre-made or purchased assets, as well as existing code or functions. Just don’t write code specifically for this Jam ahead of time.

🔺 Voting Categories 🔻

After submissions close, we’ll rate each game based on the following:

1. Gameplay: Is it fun, engaging, and unique?
2. Theme Fit: How well does it incorporate the theme?
3. Polish: How smooth, complete, and bug-free is it?
4. Music & Sound: How well do the audio elements support the game?
5. Visuals: The creativity and appeal of the game’s art.
