All The Mods! Game Jam

Maybe the hero is the villain. Maybe up is down. Maybe losing makes you stronger. Maybe you need to help the evil skeleton. Maybe you control the enemies instead of the hero.

We want to see your creative side! Make something the judges wouldn't expect! You can interpret the theme however you like. It can be literal, abstract, narrative, or something unexpected. Originality matters more than making the most obvious interpretation!

What Is It?

Many different Scratch mods (featuring PenguinMod, TurboWarp, and more) will all come together to join a game jam! In a game jam, you must create a game based on a theme in a short period of time.

What’s The Prize?

1st Place will receive a $100 Gift Card to a platform of choice.

2nd Place will receive a $70 Gift Card to a platform of choice.

3rd Place will receive a $50 Gift Card to a platform of choice.

You must be 13 years or older to receive the reward. If you are not of this age, you will need a parent/guardian to do this for you.
If working in a team, the prize will be split as even as possible between all team members.

Rules:

If working in a team, teams may have no more than 4 members.
All projects must be created and published in the duration of the jam.
You are permitted to use Scratch or any Scratch mod that can be packaged and uploaded to itch.io.
You are allowed to use stock assets and assets you have created before. You are not allowed to use other’s assets without explicit permission. You are allowed to use built in assets in the editor.
You are allowed to use code you have made before. The majority of your project, however, should be mostly new code created in the duration of the jam.
You may use any extensions
