The work produced is part of the assessment for the L5 Games Studio Project unit, which is a joint unit between the BSc (Hons) Games Design and BSc (Hons) Games Software Engineering courses.
The event showcasing the great work of all the teams made up of our brilliant students from Games Design and Games Software Engineering is taking place on Tuesday 26th May on the 3rd floor of Poole Gateway Building — an amazing facility which our students enjoy using to learn about games and develop their own skills towards creating engaging games.
The work produced within this unit aims to replicate an industry-based project where students took the role of either Project Manager, Commercial Lead, Creative or Technical as part of mixed teams. The production of the game follows industry standard project management tools, such as the SCRUM (Agile) Methodology, including 5 main 2-week Sprints.

The outcomes of this unit include multiple artefacts, such as Commercial Market Research, Game Design Document, Marketing Plan and Artefacts — and more importantly a Vertical Slice Demo of the game produced by the teams.
