FarmJam 2026

Hello, fellow game creators and farm fanatics!

If you’re here, you probably remember the spark that started with FarmJam.

Back in 2023, a handful of creative devs came together to put a fresh spin on farming games, and the response blew us away. Since then, the community has kept growing, with over 1500 members joining in on the chaos, creativity, and crop-growing.

And now…

FarmJam 2026 Begins Mid-Summer This Year!

That’s right.

A summer jam. For farming games.

Whether you want to create:

a wholesome farming sim

a weird farming RPG

a farming horror game

a sci-fi crop empire

or something completely unhinged

We want to see it.

Bring your strange mechanics, unique ideas, and fresh takes on farm life. Farming games have endless possibilities, and this jam is all about proving it.

Why FarmJam Exists

I’m a huge fan of couch co-op and farming games. My wife and I play them together constantly, even single-player ones, and we realized something:

There really aren’t many farming games that try something different.

What started as a tiny 15-day jam eventually became a 30-day event, twice a year. From this year onward, FarmJam will officially stay a 30-day jam going forward.

Co-op is encouraged, but not required.

If you want to make a multiplayer farming experience, go for it. No pressure. Just make something fun.

Mandatory Requirements

Your game MUST:

Be farm-themed

Include either growable crops OR raisable animals

Your genre can be anything:

horror • sci-fi • cozy • survival • first-person • top-down • weird experimental stuff

As long as it’s still clearly a farming game.

You must ALSO include ONE of the following:

Day/Night System

How time affects farming, animals, or farm activity

OR

Season System

Seasons that change how farming works or how the farm behaves

Secret Requirement List

Secret Themes:

???

Crops don’t grow themselves.
