
Welcome back to Holmesglen Game Jam! After an amazing event last year, weโre excited to return in 2026 for another two days of creativity, collaboration, and game development. Whether you're a student, indie developer, artist, programmer, musician, or simply interested in making games, everyone is welcome to join in.
This jam is open to all skill levels. You donโt need prior experience to get involved — contribute through art, design, programming, music, writing, testing, voice acting, or simply by collaborating with others and sharing ideas.
Itโs a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, work in teams, develop new skills, and create something exciting over two jam days

Everyone is welcome — even if youโve never made a game before. You can:
Projects submitted to the jam will be eligible for a range of award categories recognising creativity, technical achievement, design, audio, visual presentation, innovation, and more. considered.
๐ Winners will be announced at a later date beyond the end of the jam.
The theme of the jam will be announced on the day — so come ready to brainstorm and build something awesome from scratch!
You can use templates, fonts, sounds, models, sprites, and music from the internet if they are licensed appropriately and fully credited in your gameโs description.
AI tools (like ChatGPT, Copilot, or image generators) may be used in moderation, but the core game must still be made by you.
List your team and asset credits in this format: (Role), (Name), (Itch.io Profile Link) Also include asset names, sources, and licenses if using third-party content.
๐ฃ By entering the jam, you agree that your game may be featured in Holmesglenโs event videos, social media posts, and promotional materials. All games must also be appropriate for a general audience as projects will be showcased publicly.
