This is an Anti Scope Creep Jam. It is open to All Ages. 

You have three days to make something. Anything. 
Set a goal and ignore scope creep. Throw perfectionism to the wind. Make exactly what you set out to do and finish it within that time.
Let it be unpolished, a little bit terrible, but make it finished.

Rules:

  • This jam is NOT RANKED. There is NO PRIZE other than creating something. 
  • You may begin planning your project as soon as this jam is open to participants.  This can include: Outlining, script writing, creating a design document, creating concept art, etc. But the main work should be done during the jam. 
  • You may use premade assets including ones you have already made, free assets, or purchased assets.
  • You MAY NOT utilize generative AI in any way. Including, but not limited to: Concept generation, placeholder asset making, permanent asset making, concept art, etc. 
  • You may create any kind of project that can be hosted on Itch, including: TTRPGs, Video Games, Short Stories/Novellas, Art Zines, Poetry Collections, Comics, or Other. 
  • You may not submit asset packs for this jam. This includes: Fonts, BGM music packs, visual assets, sprites, texture packs, etc. 
  • You may use this time to work on a project that is already in progress if you would prefer, but the main goal should be to complete or finish some major aspect within that time. For Example: Finishing a full outline, finishing a script draft, finishing a first draft, finishing a playable alpha, etc. 
  • This project is open to all ages, so if you are making an NSFW project, please keep that in mind and make sure your project is tagged appropriately. Failure to do so will result in the removal of your project/disqualification. 
  • If you are making a horror project, please include content warnings in your project page.
  • DONE IS BETTER THAN GOOD

You do not need to follow a prompt if you don't want to, but if you need a prompt, make a project that does the following: 
Show me something unexpected. 

MAKE ART THAT SUCKS.
