Krafer Game Jam 2026

Krafer Game Jam 2026
“Hey there! You look like you need to join a game jam!”

The Krafer Game Jam 2026 is the first game jam hosted by Krafer, a game-making marathon where developers try to make a game that fits this year’s theme in 1 week!

Jam Theme

Games submitted must follow the overarching theme. It is a broad topic that can be interpreted in many ways, so don’t feel too constrained!

The Krafer Game Jam 2026 theme will be announced when the jam begins!

Who Can Join?

Anyone is welcome to join. No other requirements necessary! Whether you’re a Krafer fan or a game maker fan, this is the jam for you.

Never made a game before?
No problem! We’re looking for submissions, not perfection.
Seasoned veteran?

Voting

There are several categories for voting, and winners will be determined based on these categories, along with Krafer’s personal pick. Each category will have 1 unique winner.

Theme — How well does the game fit the theme?
Fun — How fun is the game overall?
Humor — How much does the game make you laugh?
Polish — How well-crafted is the game?
Music/Audio — How well does the audio sound?

The Rules!

The Krafer Game Jam 2026 is open to anyone, and developers can either work solo or in teams. Games should be suitable for general audiences, and ranking is subject to rule adherence.

Keep it Honest

Games must only use assets created during the 1-week period of the game jam.

Make Sure it Works

Any uploads should either be playable as a downloadable Windows PC build or in-browser.

Keep it Classy

Content in games should be appropriate for general audiences, without strong language or excessive gore.

Make Your Own Art

Try to make as much of your art on your own, either with your own two hands or with a teammate. Gen AI isn’t necessarily against the rules, but it’s a lot more fun when you do the work yourself!
